SMART Balancer & Guard 505 is for Li-Poly.
Please read this manual carefully and use in correct way.


1. Feature

* Balances: Li-polymer: 2-5 cells
* Input Volts: Up to 22V
* Drain Rate : 300mA
* Smart Balancer & Guard 505 shows the condition of each cell.
* High performance microprocessor controls voltage,
overcharging problem and unbalanced and individually.
* It maintains the voltage of each cell regularly.
* It stops charging procedure automatically when
any of each cell is overcharged or input voltage is over 22V. (Err/Check LED flashes.)
* Smart Balancer & Guard 505 shows which one is the
lowest voltage cell and shows rest of higher voltage cells by LED.
LED of the lowest voltage cell: Off. LED of higher voltage cells: Flashes.
* Err/Check LED will flash, if you choose unmatched adaptor.

2. How to use
1) 2cell, 3cell and 4cell packed battery:
Connect balancer to battery with supplied adapter.
5cell packed battery: Connect balancer to the battery directly
(Unmatched connection : Err/Check LED flashes)

2) Smart Balancer & Guard 505 balances voltage of each cell.
LED of the lowest voltage cell: Off. LED of higher voltage cells: Flashes.

3) Connect the balancer to your charger, and it will start to charge.

4) Smart balancer & Guard 505 balances voltage of cells while charging procedure.
(Unbalanced voltage of cell: LED of the cell lights on.)

5) Wait until all the LED of each cell goes out.

6) After the LED of each cell goes out, then Err/Check LED lights on.
(It means balancing is finished and full charged.)

7) Balancing and Charging is finished. Disconnect battery from
Smart Balancer & Guard 505

3. ERROR Message
Err/Check LED flashes.
* When the input voltage of balancer is over 22V.
* When you connect unmatched adaptor.
* If the any of each cell among your packed battery voltage is over 4.3V
* If the any of each cell among your packed battery voltage is below 2.25V

4. Cautions
1) Never short any part of input/output.

2) Please use same capacity cells in battery pack
( For example don't mix 1200mAh and 1500mAh wired together ).

3) Please do not use at high humidity and hot places.

4) Please do not modify.

5) Please do not use in a car.

6) Do not leave balancer unsupervised while connected to battery.
